HEY :)  | My name is Emma Louise Shorto. I have lived in Australia since I was four years old and was originally born in Canada. After graduating high school two years ago I deferred from university for the year and worked as a receptionist in order to save money; Which did not exactly go according to plan! I am now enrolled in primary school teaching at Murdoch university. So far it is still all quite new to me and I am still trying to get back into the routine of studying! Lets face it; No teenager wants to get back in the routine of studying after making money for a year! But hopefully it all goes well and in four years time I will be teaching young kids. I have chosen to do Primary school teaching because I really like and get along with kids. I also believe that what you teach kids at a young age is extremely important and if you can teach a child one thing and they actually grasp on to what you have said, you have made a difference in their life! I just think it is an amazing thing! My family is the most important thing for me. I don't have many family members in Australia because most are over seas. Therefore I treasure the memories I share with the ones I can see and talk to every day! I think memories are one of the most important thing in ones life because it helps to make them who they are today! |
