Ive started thinking about the social resources side of the assignment and I will be honest with you; my brain feels scrambled eggs! I'm not too sure as to what my event should be and what social networking site I wish to use. At first I thought, "Easy, I'll use Facebook," but then I decided against it. Using Facebook would just be using a site I use every day and giving instructions to an audience where a majority of them are Facebook users, to me, seemed pointless. So I have decided to explore the wonderful world of social networking sites and choose a different site! Which one you ask? I have no idea! I think I will have to ask in my workshop tomorrow and try get an idea of what other people are thinking of using. Hopefully I get more answers then just Facebook!

As for my event? I have recently started thinking about traveling over seas more. I already have a trip to Vancouver booked at the end of the year and a possible trip to England after the first semester exams. So i was thinking of a site where people that travel or wish to travel can upload pictures of places they have been or want to go and hopefully inspire one another to go there or just give people ideas. If not that, just somewhere for people to share their adventures of the places they have been! I'm not sure if I am on the right track here, so I will ask around tomorrow :)
